A dress with story

The summer weather is here and enjoy to wear light clothing during the day but cooler at night a lot, so I think it's time to make garments for transiccion between the two stations, but a pending winter dress yet.
Anyway this week I finished the dress that gave me quite war and made fun of me days ago, I really wanted to finish this dress because I think it is quite nice and has bright colors and flattering to motivate welfare increases.

You must excuse my strange face, pictures are taken in successive clicks and sometimes without warning the photographer before the shoot, my favorite photographer said that would show myself naturally, without forced poses ..... I think he does it traicion.LOL

You can see the changes made in the back of the dress, I think it won enough to change the zip around pretty buttons (touch child?)
Anyway, I hope you are enjoying a wonderful weekend, I'm immersed in my next project ....

  2. What a pretty dress! So perfect for Spring. Beautiful pictures, as well. The flowers are lovely. We're going to Spain in 6 weeks (Madrid and Andalucia), so I'm thrilled to see that it's warm enough for the flowers to be blooming.

  4. Hola Rosy, mi gusta mucho tu blog. Mi novio es Canario, desde Gran Canaria tambien. Tu vestido es muy lindo, especialmente los botones. My Spanish is not very good, sorry! Your blog combines posts on vintage sewing and also photos of Canaria, both of which I love!

  10. I´m amazed at the fit! I would never have pulled that off. You´ve made a beautiful dress that will lift your mood on a grey day. The pattern was nice but your changes made it nicer,I think. The red buttons are lovely. Que lo disfrutes mucho.
