Ironies of life ....

I'm back ..... You may have noticed that I have completely disappeared from the lives of Internet users since last week, well, irony of life ....

I tell you ... I have a little prince in the family since last week, my niece was the mother and gave birth to a beautiful baby, what makes me ... "aunt- grandmother".

Of course, I wanted to make it a personal gift that will not buy in a store, something more intimate, so I decided to make a small blanket and a baby sheet with his name  embroidered . OSCAR.

So I took the gift and met my new nephew on Thursday to give he welcome this world .... On Friday morning the news came home that my dear mother in law had died.   My mother in law had been diagnosed with cancer four months ago, so the transition from this world to her new place was quiet as far as possible and all who wanted to have time to enjoy her company and her farewell  However, some thing very hard and sad, that's the reason for my disappearance and the title of this post.  Now I hope to be back to do the usual things, because life goes by good and bad things.... you just have to let the bad and enjoy the good things of life, as time permits ....

  2. Oh Rosy, I am so sorry to read your post about the sadness at the loss of your mother in law and the joy in Oscar. I think you were very close to her from reading your post - and your closeness to Oscar is evident with your lovely gift. "Kia kaha" which is Maori for be strong, keep going.

  3. Que pena por la muerte de tu suegra, pero como dices, asi es la vida con cosas buenas y malas, alguien se va pero alguien mas llega como tu sobrino-nieto.
Por cierto, que hermoso juego de sabanitas!
